Mermaid Rum Punch!
Mermaid Rum Punch – Pin It For Later!
I first made Mermaid Punch for the kids when they were younger at one of their birthday parties. Of course, it did not involve alcohol! Everyone loved it, and there wasn’t any left over. This version is definitely only for the grown-ups! You could always make a large batch of Mermaid Punch for everyone, then just add the rum for the adults into each glass. This way everyone can enjoy the sweet summer punch.
Last week I shared with you how to make these adorable Mermaid Glitter Wine Glasses. I got so many comments about the “pretty blue drink” in the glasses I couldn’t wait to share this recipe with you this week.
Mermaid Rum Punch By The Glass
Making this cocktail by the glass is more about personal preference than exact measurements. Mine is 2 parts Hawaiian punch, 7-up, and rum. 1 part pineapple juice.
If you like it a bit sweeter add a little more Hawaiian punch/7-up and a little less pineapple juice. If you like it a bit more tart, more pineapple/rum and less of the sweet stuff. It really is up to you and your personal preference.

Mermaid Rum Punch By The Bowl
If you want to make this punch in a larger quantity, you can mix everything together in your favorite punch bowl or beverage dispenser and serve it up that way. Just pour in the gallon of Hawaiian punch, 2-liter bottle of 7-up and a 46 oz. can of pineapple juice. Leave it as is to share with the kids, or add in as much rum as you like if it is an all adult party. It really is as simple as that, and your guests will all love it!
