Teriyaki Turkey Burger with Grilled Pineapple – Pin it for later!
Lately, we have been trying to change up our eating habits a bit, for the better. Since I am having a hard time going from chocolate cake to rice cake, we decided to make small changes and adjust as we go. We all like a good well-seasoned turkey burger, so the decision to add it to our weekly Menu Plan was an easy one. The normal turkey burger recipe we tend to go to needed a little extra something to kick it up a bit, make it interesting, add a little more flavor.
The best EVER Teriyaki Sauce gave our turkey burger just the right amount of WOW. The two recipes were a perfect match. I wish I had thought of making this sooner.

- Sliced pineapple rings
Directions:
Combine ground turkey, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, 1Tbs green onion, egg and breadcrumbs in a bowl. Mix until combined.
Divide the turkey mixture into 4 equal portions
Tip: Press the mixture flat in the bowl, score with your hands down the center and across the middle to make 4 equal portions.
Shape each portion into patties.
Lightly spray a non-stick skillet with cooking spray and cook over medium-high heat for 4 to 6 minutes per side. Baste the turkey burgers on both sides with the Teriyaki glaze before removing from the skillet.
Sear pineapple rings in the same pan. The teriyaki bits will coat the pineapple as well, and give it a nice caramelization.
Serve on a fresh hamburger bun, or inside your favorite lettuce wrap. Top with the remaining sliced green onions.
