Whoa! Is it really time? Is it September 4th yet? Ok, so we have a week to go before the official start of the NFL season! We have some fan-tastic ideas to kick the season off right. With a super fun and always exciting NFL Football Kick-off Party! Are you ready for some football!?!?!?

We are huge football fans at our house! Go, Cowboys! The start of the football season is always exciting and such an adrenaline rush for the guys and girls alike. Getting everyone together every Sunday … umm Monday and Thursday now too… to watch the game, have some great food and cheer on our favorite teams. But the first day of the new season is even more exciting because it is officially official! It doesn’t really matter who is playing, sure it helps if you are a fan of that team, but to watch a game and know that the fall season is here. Yes, folks, let’s face it fall is here! Or at least right around the corner haha we are going to have a 90-degree weekend for Labor Day. But it’s coming! I know it’s coming.

Here are some great tips and ideas for throwing the perfect NFL Football Kick off Party!

1. Seating!  Always have plenty of room and seating for everyone. You can never go wrong with having extra chairs around.  If you’re having a lot of people over for the game, why not make it an outdoor event? Grab your projection screen and hike it outside in the grass. We haven’t made the purchase yet, but we have our eye on a pretty nice projection screen for the front porch area. This is the one we are looking at now

2. Dress the part! Have your fellow fans wear their favorite NFL Gear! It’s even more fun and entertaining when there is a little friendly trash-talking between friends over rival teams. Keep it clean now!

3. Decorate! A good football-themed party is a blast. There are so many cool football party decorations out, especially now with the season starting back up. If you don’t have access to a party store you can check out Amazon.com for some great deals on party favors and decorations.
