How fun would it be to make your own DIY Kitchen Magnets to match whatever decor you have? You can totally do that with this simple tutorial. You won’t believe just how simple and inexpensive it is to put together a set of these magnets. They are perfect for gifts and crafts fairs too. If you follow me on social media, you know I am so indecisive on what theme I am using for my kitchen. I think I have narrowed it down, but for now, I have a rainbow of colors and styles all miss matched together. Whatever color I decide on, I can bling out my fridge with these simple and affordable DIY Kitchen Magnets.

DIY Kitchen Magnets to Match Any Decor!

Materials you will need for this project:
- Wooden Clothespins
- Mod Podge
- Scrapbook Paper
- Stickers and/or embellishments
- Magnet strips
Instructions:
Using the clothespin as your template, cut a strip of scrapbook paper large enough to cover the top of the clothespin, adding about a quarter of an inch to the ends on both sides.
Generously cover the clothespin with mod podge.
Apply the cut piece of scrapbook paper over the mod podge clothespin.
Cover with another layer of mod podge to seal the paper on.
Once the clothespins are completely dry add a magnetic strip to the back, embellish with fun stickers or shiny rhinestones to match your scrapbook paper.
You could use acrylic paint and/or permanent marker instead of scrapbook paper to add some fun colors and styles to your magnets like we did to these fun Summer Flip Flop Magnets. (You can get similar super cute Flip Flop stickers HERE)
We just used paint on this one, added a fun Mickey Mouse sticker and just a piece of scrapbook paper on the ends. It was a perfect gift for my Mickey obsessed girlfriend. We made a full desk set! You can see it HERE!
