This week you need to do some around the house work. Deep clean your home top to bottom. Do a little each day so you are not over whelmed with house work. Be sure to clean out your fridge and make sure there is plenty of room for all of your Thanksgiving dishes.
Towards the end of the week, it is now time to take the turkey out of the freezer and let it chill out in the fridge. An average 16 pound turkey will take 3 – 4 days to fully thaw in the fridge. Once it is thawed completely your turkey will keep for 2 – 3 days.
While you are at the store this week, be sure to pick up all remaining non perishable items. Store them properly in your pantry or fridge.
That’s all the goodies we have for this week. That should keep you plenty busy with the cleaning and the last minute shopping. We still have one more last minute Tuesday Tips for Your Thanksgiving meal. Stay busy and do what ever you can to make your holiday as stress free as possible.
I am so excited to celebrate this Thanksgiving! My 2 aunts are coming into town from Plymouth, MA to visit our family for the holidays. I was born and raised in Plymouth, MA where the first Thanksgiving was held. You can read my story here just click on the image below! ….
Have you gotten the past tasks done? Do you have your own system keeping you organized for this Thanksgiving? I love having a plan and keeping things as organized as I can. If I don’t do it this way, I will procrastinate until the day before Thanksgiving.

I need a few perishables still and wondering if the pie is going to last without someone taking a piece before we celebrate.
