- 2 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbs corn starch
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes

Directions:
For the meatballs :
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix together the first 10 ingredients until completely combined. Roll into 2 inch balls (*TIP: Use an Ice Cream Scoop to ensure all your meatballs are the same size and cook evenly)
Place on a baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes or until the edges of the meatballs are dark and golden brown.
While the meatballs are cooking turn your Crock Pot to the low setting. Place the cooked meatballs into the preheated crock pot after you remove them from the oven.
For the sauce:
Heat 1 Tbs olive oil in a large saute pan over medium heat. Saute the onions until translucent. Slowly add 3 1/2 cups beef broth, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 5 minutes over medium heat.
In a small bowl combine remaining beef broth and cornstarch. Whisk into the sauce. Cook for 5 – 10 minutes until your sauce thickens. Pour the gravy over your meatballs in the crock pot.
Cook on low 2 – 3 hours. Serve hot with Garlic Mashed Potatoes or buttered noodles.

In a hurry? You can most definitely add your meatballs into the gravy right on the stove top, heat them through and serve immediately. I prefer to cook them in the crock pot for a few hours with the gravy so the meatballs absorb all of that salty tangy goodness. The choice is yours.

This recipe makes about 50 meatballs, depending on the size you roll them. After having dinner with the hubby and the 2 teens, we had 4 (yep FOUR) meatballs left! I think it would be safe to say that these were a huge hit! What do you think?

I think my husband would like this. I’m not really that crazy about hamburger, but he’d love it. I may try it.
I’ve never made them with turkey but I bet they would be just as delish! Thanks for stopping by.
Can I use frozen meatballs? If so, since they’re already cooked, could I just place them in the slow cooker and pour the mixed gravy on top?
Of course .. I do that quite often when I am in a pinch. Some of the frozen ones are delish!
