What You Will Need:
- Fresh Strawberries – washed and dried
- Chocolate Candy Melts
- Candy Sprinkles
- Wax Paper
- Pretty Serving Tray
Melt the dipping chocolate in a small bowl in the microwave according to the package instructions. Different brands melt faster than others. My personal preference is Wilton candy melts.
Once the chocolate is completely melted, dip your fresh strawberries in the chocolate about 3/4 of the way up the berry.
The chocolate hardens pretty quickly, once you pull the berry out of the melted candy, dip the bottom in blue sugar sprinkles about 1/3 of the way up.
Place your perfect Patriotic Dipped Strawberries on a piece of wax paper to harden. This will only take 10 – 20 minutes.
Arrange your berries on a pretty serving platter, or into mini cupcake liners. These are so simple to make but have such an incredible WOW factor. They are beautiful to look at, and delicious to eat! Everyone will be back for seconds in no time, so make sure you make extras.
