Making frozen egg rolls in your air fryer is so easy. It’s also ten times faster than your oven and (obviously) healthier than deep frying.
Before I had to go gluten-free for health reasons, I never really liked egg rolls. It wasn’t that is disliked them. I was just always more of a dumpling or potsticker kind of gal.
But now that I can’t have gluten, egg rolls are one of my favorite foods. Unfortunate, right? The good news, for me at least, is that you can get frozen gluten-free egg rolls that help me with my craving. That, combined with how easy they are to cook in an air fryer, and tada, problem solved. Almost. Now I crave croissants…
Spring Rolls Versus Egg Rolls
Spring rolls and egg rolls are both popular types of appetizers that originate from Asia. They are both wrapped in thin wrappers made of flour or rice, but the key difference between the two lies in the wrapper itself.
Egg rolls are wrapped in a thicker, crisper wrapper that has been dipped in egg for richness, while spring rolls are simply wrapped in a thinner flour or rice wrapper.
Egg rolls are also fried, which accounts for their bubbly and crispy exterior. Spring rolls, on the other hand, are not fried and are instead often served fresh or steamed. So if you’re looking for a lighter appetizer, spring rolls are the way to go. But if you want something with a little more crunch, go for an egg roll. Which is obviously why you’re reading this post.

Cooking Frozen Egg Rolls in Your Air Fryer
Prep time: 1 minute
Cook time: 10 minutes
Preheat your air fryer to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
When your air fryer is hot, place your egg rolls in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping once when your air fryer reminds you.
Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
Recipe note:
This recipe doesn’t require extra oil. But if you want to add a dash of extra taste, drizzle the top of your egg rolls with sesame oil when you flip them. I’m a huge fan of sesame oil, and it’s something I tried once and liked.

How to Store Leftover Egg Rolls
Allow your egg rolls to cool completely. Once they are cooled, you can place them in an airtight container or bag and store them in the refrigerator. They’ll last about 3-4 days. Or until eaten.
Looking to refreeze your frozen egg rolls after you’ve cooked them? In my personal experience, I’d say don’t do this. It’s best only to cook what you’re going to eat. Eventually, reheating and freezing them is going to affect the texture.
But if you insist, The best way to refreeze leftover egg rolls is to place them in a single layer on a baking sheet and freeze them. Once they are frozen, you can place them in a freezer bag or container and keep them in the freezer for up to 2-3 months. When you are ready to eat them, you can reheat them again in your air fryer.
