There is nothing better than the perfect greasy hamburger from the diner down the road that is for sure. When you are feeding an army like I do on occasion, it can be time consuming and expensive to make burgers for a large group. When this happens around here, we opt to make sliders instead. You might think that making all of those teeny tiny sliders for a bunch of people might take even longer. But guess what my friend … you are completely wrong! Sliders for a crowd can be simple and you can make a whole pan of them at once using these very easy steps.
The recipe below is using my favorite burger flavorings. You can change it up how ever you want and use what ever seasoning you like in your burgers.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef (or ground bison)
1/2 Cup cheddar cheese
1 Tbs garlic powder
1 Tbs onion powder
salt & pepper to taste
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Mix all ingredients in a medium size bowl
Press the ground beef mixture into a standard cookie sheet with sides.
Using a sharp knife, Score the ground beef before cooking.
Bake in a 350 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until cooked through
Serve on dinner rolls or slider buns.
We make these sliders around our house probably once or twice a month. The teens love them and we can change up the flavors in our burgers to what ever we are in the mood for. cheese, bacon, chives, jalapenos the sky is the limit.
