Candy Corn Jello Shots
I wanted to make a fun Halloween Jello Shot just for the adults this year. With so many friends that stop by for a visit, why not give them a treat too? Of course, these treats are only for the adults, sorry kids.
Making jello shots are pretty easy, simply replace the cold water in the recipe with alcohol of your choice. For these jello shots, I chose vodka. Vodka will give you the alcohol that you need, but allow the flavor of the jello to still come through. Here is how we made them.
Ingredients:
- 1 3 oz. box lemon jello
- 1 3 oz. box orange jello
- 1 4 oz. box instant vanilla pudding
- Water
- Vodka
- Milk
Directions:
Making layered jello shots is a little bit time-consuming. Trust me, anything this fun is worth the wait.
Prepare the lemon jello as directed on the package, replacing the cold water part of the recipe with vodka.
Pour the mixed lemon jello into small shot cups. I used these Dixie Cups with a sealable lid for easy transport.
Using a measuring cup with a spout, fill the cups 1/3 of the way with the yellow jello. Place in the refrigerator until set
Repeat with the orange jello. Place in the fridge until set.
For the white layer, I just used vanilla pudding. I didn’t add any alcohol to the pudding but feel free to add it if you want to. Rum, Baileys, even RumChatta would probably be fantastic in these.
Chill until set – Serve cold!
