Salisbury Steak …ahh the childhood memories! But the memories consist of the frozen, cardboard like banquet meal. As a kid, I loved it! But, I loved cafeteria food too .. so that doesn’t say much for my taste buds when I was a kid. Thankfully I have matured and so have my taste buds! Whew! Comfort food at it’s best! This recipe will not disappoint.
The tangy and rich flavor of the sauce is what makes this Salisbury steak second to none. And its very easy to put together even on a week night. It’s also a great meal to use up leftover ground beef.

1 1/2 pounds ground beef (or ground bison)
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
1 egg
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
