Decorating A Summer Bar Cart With Personalized Bar Art!
A few weeks ago, I scored a cute vintage metal bar cart. I fell in love with the small cart and knew it would be perfect for a summer bar cart for inside or outside my home. As cute as it was, it needed a complete makeover as it was sitting outside in the elements for quite some time.
We adopted this little beauty and gave it a 100% facelift. You can see how we did it here.
Update Vintage Furniture Using Vinyl
With a fresh clean new look, I knew I had to make some custom bar art to bring the whole look together. StyleTech Craft Glossy Vinyl and my Cricut cutting machine to the rescue!
Finding Images On Cricut Design Space
After a quick search in the design space database, I was able to find some of the cutest cocktail SVGs that are completely free with your Cricut Access subscription!
The local Dollar Tree has mirrors and frames in many shapes and sizes. I picked up four rectangle mirrors. Mine were just $1 each, but if you don’t have a Dollar Tree store, here is a similar style from Amazon

The center cocktails sign I had in my craft supply stash. Any smooth wood base will work. This wood panel 
would make a perfect DIY Bar Sign!
How To Assemble Your Bar Art
StyleTech Craft Glossy Craft Vinyl is the perfect material for any home project. Glossy craft vinyl
is a permanent vinyl that can be used on your indoor projects as well as your outdoor projects, and it will last for years with no fade, wear, or damage. I have used this on my car window and it’s lasted for years.
Since this bar cart will be used outside during the summer, glossy craft vinyl is a perfect choice. I did decide to use black to go with my decor, but there are 45 different colors of glossy craft vinyl to choose from.
After you have selected your design, cut the design with your Cricut
, and weeded out all the excess vinyl, cover the entire design with StyleTech Craft clear transfer tape.
You can now apply your vinyl decal to anything you like. A mirror, a wood base, or even a basic frame with pretty paper behind it. Just like we did for our adorable Valentine’s Day Art!
I love the retro vibe these cocktail images give off. Even though my decor is neutral and somewhat farmhouse, the black and mirror pictures are fun, and a great addition to the new bar art set up.
