Are you a craft aholic? I just love a nice quick craft that is just as cute as the ones you take hours making. Holiday crafts are especially fun to me. Decorating and accessorizing every room during the holidays makes everything feel and look more festive and inviting. You can have one of these adorable star ornaments made in about 10 minutes! They are so easy and just the cutest little stars, they will be a perfect addition to your Christmas tree this year!
I also think they look a bit like star fish. Since I am doing my kitchen in a beach theme, these will be perfect for the empty wall I have yet to put anything on.
Here is how you can make your own! …
Supplies you will need:
Wooden clothes pins (We got ours at the dollar tree for a buck!! )
Hot glue gun
glue sticks
Craft pain and a pain brush
twine or jute for a hook
Embellishment for the center (optional)
Separate each clothes pin from its metal spring. We used 5 clothes pins per star.
Glue the 2 pieces back to back with a little hot glue
Arrange your pins in a star shape and glue together at the center
Paint your perfect star any color you like. Add some glitter if you really want to make it sparkle!
Attach your twine loop to the back of one point.
Glue on your center embellishment to add some pizzaz!!
How easy was that?? and you can color them to match any color scheme.
So grab your paints and your glitters and lets see what you come up with!
E-mail me your photos to be added to the page.
