Easy Monogram Gift Using Your Cricut
Personalized gifts have increased in popularity over the last few years. Adding a simple and elegant monogram to anything adds character and a little extra charm.
Creating a personalized monogram is a lot easier than you may think. With the wide selection of free fonts that are available in Cricut Design Space, and other font websites online you can create an adorable monogram in just a few minutes.
Monogram Font Selection
The font I used for this monogram is called Monogram KK and I found it on Dafont (dot) com, free for personal use.
A traditional monogram layout consists of a first initial, last initial, middle initial. With the middle letter (the last name initial) is generally a bit larger than the other two letters.
I did this in design space by ungrouping the three letters and slightly stretching the middle initial.
Cut, weed and transfer your design to your surface. I used StyleTech Craft Ultra Metallic Glitter Vinyl. It is my favorite!
I found this adorable makeup pouch set that also included a portable charger. Perfect for that friend that is always on the go.
Add in a few extra beauty products (my favorite lipstick right now is Senegence Lip Sense! This color is Glam Doll, with a Glossy Gloss), a cute pocket mirror and your gift is complete.
Do you make homemade gifts or personalized gifts for the holidays? I would love to hear how you put your very own creative spin on them.
