The Ultimate Cookie Swap Guide – My Swap Story

The Ultimate Cookie Swap Guide - My Swap Story - Daily DIY Life.com

I hosted my first cookie swap 5 years ago. We wanted an event to get the women together for the holidays. Something different than just a Christmas party. So I did a little internet research and stumbled upon a few  places that talked about hosting a cookie swap. I love to bake, so this was perfect.

I pitched the idea to my girlfriends, and everyone was so excited. Before the invitations were even sent I had recipes flowing into my inbox! I knew right then this would have to be an annual tradition, and it has been ever since.

Our first swap only consisted of 7 ladies. Last year we had about 18 swappers. The number of attendees grew more and more each year. Which meant we had to really get creative with themes, games, prizes and even food.

On the following pages you will find some basic “rules” on how to host a swap.

Lots of fun and interactive games to play with your guests. Lots n Lots of cookie recipes. And so much more!

So please, grab a cup of coffee or tea (Or martini if you like) and take a look around. If you have hosted a cookie swap, or even just a party and have some ideas you would like to add please, drop me an email or comment here. I would love to make this page the one stop go to for all your cookie swap needs!

Happy Swapping!!
