Daily DIY Life was created in 2014 with a vision of sharing how we build our lives, one day at a time. You can expect to find everything from how to cook new recipes, to how to keep your home warm in the winter.
Learning, creating, and imagining something new is a healthy way to keep your life exciting. As a mom of 4 very wild and very wonderful independent boys, I have learned a thing or two over the years.
There is NEVER enough food.
Someone is always bored.
Once they become teens, hugs are limited.
The bathroom is never clean.
And the love is ENDLESS!
We try very hard to get creative in solving the first 4 things on that list. Getting the boys in the kitchen to learn new Recipes. Creating fun Crafts and activities for them to get involved in. Quality family time and every day Household Tips are just a few of the things you will find me sharing.
As for #5, Can there really ever be to much love? We don’t think so! That will never change.
What You Will Find Here At Daily DIY Life
I try very hard to bring you the very best recipes and crafts/DIY that I come up with. From breakfast to dinner and everything in between, our recipes are tried and tested in our own kitchen. If we don’t love it, you won’t see it. It’s that simple! Here are a few of our favorite recipes that you can find here at Daily DIY Life.
I am a 45-year-old mom of 4 boys (26, 25, 19 and 17). My husband and I have been married since October 1998. We now live in a very small town in West Virginia (population 2500). I have one granddaughter who just turned 6 and is my sweet, perfect little princess.
We also have one very spoiled fur baby! His name is Reno and he is a 4-Year-old German Sheppard/Chocolate Lab mix.
I have devoted my life to trying to be the best wife, mom, and grandma that I can be. I am not perfect, and I will never claim to be. Learning new things is fun and exciting! Sharing them with others just makes them that much more special.
Thank you for stopping by to find out more about me and Daily DIY Life. I would love to connect and learn more about you too! Tell me a little about yourself and your family in the comments below!
You have a beautiful family! Love your pooch he is so cute. You must be very proud of the wonderful family you raised. Love the pics…you look stunning! Also, thank you and proud of your son for his service to this country!
lol I miss having a pooch. We lost Neo – my darlin pug of 12 years in January so it’ s been hard deciding to get another one. I figure when the time is right, it will happen. I love your wedding photo…you look amazing!
Hello Heather,
I seen your recipe for the crock pot pierogis with kielbasa and since it caught my attention I thought I would check out your page.
I’m excited to learn more of your recipes but was amused to see that we both were married in Oct 98′ (mine is the 5th), we have a son as our first child (he’s 17) and where you have a ‘grand’daughter that is a 3 years old, we have a daughter that is 3 years old. 🙂
Just wanted to share and let you know I enjoy your page.
Best wishes,
Angela
Hi Angela 🙂 Thank you so much for your comments! We sure do have a lot in common. I hope you found everything you were looking for, or at least something you that sparked your interest. Have a wonderful day! Thank you again for stopping by and saying hey! … Heather
My “adopted” daughter shared your recipe with me, and we’ve both made different versions of it. This stuff is seriously delicious! I’m a vegetarian, and used soy chorizo and veggie hot dogs. The result tastes like a fabulous tossed lasagna…but with none of the work! This recipe is definitely a “keeper”!
Like you, I’m a mom of many boys and live in West Vieginia, too :-). Thanks again for the great recipe. I’ll be checking on your site for more. ?
Just love your recipes. I am a senior citizen that like normal food but sometimes something a little different. Keep up the good work and stay just as you are. Thanks a bunch!
I’m an old man who bought his wife a NuWave oven only to be told, “you bought it, you can use it- I won’t.” my wife is somewhat a technophobe. I live on an island off the coast of Texas and have great fresh seafood readily available. I cannot find a recipe for the NuWave and Mahi Mahi. I’m also not a great cook so I need directions especially for the NuWave. I was all set to try the Orange salsa tuna steak recipe but no tuna was available at the docks and I got talked into Mahi Mahi steaks. I’ve got the Mahi Mahi and all the ingredients for the tuna but no directions for the fish I do have- help! Do you know of NuWave recipe for Mahi Mahi?
Hope you can help,
Roy

I was wondering if I don’t have the mini pierogies can the big pierogies be used
Yes of course. The mini’s are just a personal preference.
