A Christmas Light Scavenger Hunt is a fun activity for the whole family. Driving around looking at Christmas lights has always been something that I love to do. Even as a child we would find the biggest neighborhoods with the most extreme lights, and drive around for hours oohing and ahhing at the spectacular displays. With that in mind, I decided it would be fun to come up with a FREE Printable Christmas Light Scavenger Hunt sheet. I know the boys are teens, but searching for the best Christmas lights is fun for all ages.

Fill a thermos with hot cocoa or hot apple cider and head on out to the biggest and best neighborhoods in your area. Check off each item until the list is complete. If the kids are older, divide them into teams and see who can complete the list first. To make things even more interesting, add extra details that might be harder to find. Instead of just looking for Santa, have them find a Santa with glasses on or Santa that is sitting down.
Use your smartphone to take photos as you go along. The first to send photos of every item on the list wins a prize. You can get as creative as you want with a Christmas Light Scavenger Hunt.
