Ingredients
2 1/2c.granulated sugar
1/2tsp.salt
1/2stick4 Tablespoons butter or margarine
1 5oz.can evaporated milk2/3 c.
1Jar7.5 oz Marshmallow Fluff
2teaspoonsinstant coffee or espresso powder
1tsp.vanilla
1 12-oz.package semi-sweet chocolate chips
2candy canes crushed
Instructions
Lightly grease a 9×9 square pan and set it aside.
Combine the first 6 ingredients in a large saucepan.
Stir over low heat until blended. Increase heat to Medium and bring to a full-rolling boil, being careful not to mistake escaping air bubbles for boiling.
Boil slowly, stirring constantly for 5 minutes.
Use the Soft-Ball test for doneness, or use a candy thermometer to reach 235 degrees Fahrenheit.
Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and chocolate until chocolate is completely melted.
Turn the fudge mixture into the greased pan and top with the crushed candy canes immediately.
