Instructions
With cooking spray or butter, grease an 8x8 baking dish. You can then line the pan with parchment paper if you'd like for easier cleanup, but it's not necessary.
In a large saucepan on low heat, melt the butter. Make sure to stir frequently so the butter doesn't burn.
Next, stir in the mini marshmallow to the melted butter, also stirring frequently.
Once the butter and marshmallows are melted, remove the mixture from the heat and add the Fruity Pebbles, salt, and vanilla extract.
Finally, using a buttered spatula (so it doesn't stick), fold your fruity pebbles mixture into your baking dish and press it flat and into all the corners.
Let your crispy treats rest at room temperature for at least 30 minutes below slicing and serving. Enjoy!
Notes
After you cut your cereal treats into squares, store them in an air-tight container with wax paper between layers. This will prevent the layers from sticking to one another.
