Equipment
Wooden skewers (Soaked for at least 30 minutes in water so they don’t burn).
Ingredients
1bagFrozen meatballs, thawed (or your favorite recipe, cooked ahead)
1tubePizza dough in a can (Located in the refrigerated biscuit sections of your grocery)
2cupsMozzarella cheese, shredded
2cupsMarinara Sauce(For serving)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees – lightly grease cookie sheet or tray with cooking spray
Roll out the pizza dough just a bit to thin it out. Using a pizza cutter, cut the dough into strips. about an inch and a half wide.
Start skewering your sticks .. start with the dough, then a meatball, pull the dough around the meatball as shown in the picture above. Continue until you are able to finish with the dough last.
Bake in 350 degree oven for 8 – 10 minutes until dough is golden brown and meatballs are cooked through.
Sprinkle on the mozzarella cheese after you pull it out of the oven. It will melt fast.
