Easy Halloween Marshmallow Pops - Trick or Treat Ideas
These GIANT Halloween Marshmallow Pops are super awesome and an easy project for the kids. Store-bought marshmallows and some vibrant colored melting chocolate make these treats perfect for your little trick or treaters. Delivered in a decorated gift bag, this will be the special treat that they love.
Melt the melting chocolate according to the package directions. I used green for Frankenstein and bright white for the mummy.
Decorate your GIANT marshmallows however you like.
For the mummy, I cut the tip off of a decorators pastry bag and piped his “wrap” across the marshmallow in 2 different directions to make it look like a wrapped mummy.
For Frankenstein, I coated the entire marshmallow in green melting chocolate. Dipped the end in brown almond bark . I used the tip of a butter knife to help the chocolate drip over the edge for his hair. Once the chocolate was dry, I dipped the end of a broken pretzel into the green melting chocolate and stuck it to both sides of his head.
To add the eyes, use a small amount of melting chocolate to place the eyes on the Frankenstein and the Mummy
Using the same brown almond bark, I piped his mouth and stitches. You could also use an edible food pen to decorate his face.
Notes
For another cute novelty item, cover the marshmallow in colored chocolate, add some fun candy sprinkles and a plastic set of fangs, or a spider ring. These are great for the adults too. A unique addition to your dessert table.
