Place your pork roast in the slow cooker. In a small bowl combine the Parmesan cheese, honey, water, soy sauce, basil, garlic, olive oil, salt & pepper. Pour over your pork roast. Cover and cook on low heat for 6 – 7 hours.
Remove your roast to your serving platter and tent (cover loosely) with foil
Skim the fat off the top of the remaining liquid in the slow cooker. Pour the juices into a small saucepan. Mix corn starch and water in a separate cup. Bring the juices from the roast to a low boil. Slowly pour in cornstarch mixture, bring back to a boil. Continue to boil for 1 – 2 minutes until the gravy is thickened. This will happen fast, don’t stop stirring and keep an eye on it.
Slice your pork roast and top with the delicious hot gravy.
Serve with egg noodles or mashed potatoes for a complete hearty meal.
