Lawson’s Chip Dip is a famous French onion dip from the Midwest. If you’re from that area of the county, you may be familiar with it. And if you are, it’s probably one of your favorite chip dips. If you’re not, just hang in there with me, because you will be soon!

Ingredients
7.5ozonion and chive cream cheese
8 ozsour cream
1tbspRanch dip mix
Instructions
Remove your cream cheese from the refrigerator and let sit until soft.
When your cream cheese is soft, combine it with the sour cream and 1 tablespoon of Ranch Dip Mix. If you have a hand mixer you can use this to whip the cream cheese and sour cream together. But if you don't, that's totally ok. You’ll just need to put a little extra elbow grease into it.
Notes
I recommend using a fork to combine your ingredients. It’s easier to break up the clumps and get a smoother consistency.
