Can crushed tomatoes

Dr Pepper

Tomato paste

Apple cider vinegar

Mustard

Tbs
Worcestershire sauce

Cup
Brown sugar

Capful liquid smoke
optional
Salt & Pepper to taste
Instructions
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet, on medium heat.
Saute the onions and garlic until they are translucent.
Add in the ground beef season with salt and pepper, cook until browned. Drain excess grease from the pan once the ground beef is cooked through.
Stir in the tomatoes, Dr Pepper, Tomato Paste, Vinegar, Mustard, Worcestershire Sauce, Brown Sugar, and Liquid Smoke.
Simmer on medium heat 5 – 10 minutes so the flavors have a chance to blend.
Transfer the smoked sausage sauce to a crockpot, set it on warm and head back to your guests to enjoy the big game!
