Glitter Holiday Wine Glasses

Supplies Needed For This Holiday Wine Glass
- Stemless Wine Glass
- Dishwasher Safe Mod Podge
- Extra Fine Glitter
- Painters Tape
- StyleTech Craft Transparent Glitter Vinyl
- Cricut Maker or other vinyl cutting machine
- Transfer Tape
- Cricut Tools
or other vinyl cutting machine
Before you can apply your vinyl designs, you will want to add even more sparkle and glam to your wine glasses.
I started by taping off the area that I wanted to add the extra fine glitter to.
To make an even straight line, you can use a dry erase marker, set on top of something that is the exact height you would like the glitter line to be,
You can see in the photo that I used the glitter container itself, rested the dry erase marker on the top, held it steady, and turned the wine glass so the line was completely even and symmetrical.
How to apply glitter to glasses
Once you have the tape in place, you will want to apply a thin layer of mod podge to the glass. Sprinkle the mod podge with extra fine glitter. Set aside to dry.
Repeat this process once more. When the 2nd layer is dry, apply one final layer of mod podge. Set the glasses aside to dry completely.
While your wine glasses are dry, design and weed the design of your choice using Cricut design space or another vinyl cutting software.
I chose a fun phase and some holly and berries for my holiday glass. A cute phrase about wine is perfect for a fun wine glass. The holly and berries add just a bit more holiday cheer.
StyleTech Craft transparent glitter vinyl is super shiny and full of glitter. You can also see the shine and the color from both sides of the glass. It looks great from the outside and the inside!
