Ingredients
  • 2 tsp vegetable oil
  • ½ tsp minced ginger
  • 1 tbsp of minced garlic
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup water
  • ¾ cup dark brown sugar (I used ½ cup light brown… thought this was a bit much for the amount of sauce. If you like it REAL sweet don’t change the ingredients)
  • ½ Cup vegetable oil- for frying
  • 1 pound tri-tip beef – or London broil works nicely
  • ½ cup cornstarch
  • bundle of green onions, cut up into 1-2 inch in length
  • dash of sesame oil
  • variety of chopped veggies to your liking
Instructions
  1. Cut the steak into medium size peaces toss in corn starch and fry it until golden brown. Drain it from the oil set it aside.
  2. For the sauce: combine soy, ginger, garlic, brown sugar and water in the medium pan let it cook for 10 min or until it starts thickening.
  3. Serve over rice.
