Our Favorite 20 Minute Easy Marinara Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves of garlic - minced
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 28 oz. can crushed tomatoes
  • 2 - 3 bay leaves
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 - 2 Tablespoons granulated sugar (to taste)
  • 2 Tablespoons tomato paste
  • salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. On medium heat, heat the oil and garlic in a medium sauce pan. Saute the garlic just until fragrant (1 - 2 minutes).
  2. Add the tomatoes, bay leaves, oregano, sugar, tomato paste, salt & pepper.
  3. Simmer on low to medium heat for 20 minutes.
  4. Serve over your favorite pasta or on the side of your favorite appetizers.
