  • 1 Tbs onion powder
  • ½ Tbs sage
  • 1 cup water
  • For the Glaze:
  • ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 Tbs soy sauce
  • 1 garlic clove - minced
  • ½ tsp ginger
  • 2 Tbs corn starch
  1. For the Roast:
  2. In a small bowl mix together the salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and sage.
  3. Rub the spice mixture over the entire pork loin.
  4. Place pork loin in the crock pot with the water.
  5. Cook on low for 6 - 7 hours
  6. while the roast is cooking, prepare the glaze:
  7. Combine all glaze ingredients in a small saucepan. On medium - low heat, bring to a gentle boil. Continue to boil until your sauce thickens. About 3 - 4 minutes.
  8. About one hour BEFORE the roast is done, coat with the glaze.
  9. I like to do this 2 or 3 times with in the last hour of the cook time.
  10. When you can gently pull the pork apart with a fork you know your roast is done.
  11. Remove from the crock pot and let rest on a platter for 10 minutes.
  12. Top with more glaze before serving.
