How To Update Your Home and Appliances Using Matte Removable Vinyl

When it comes to seasonal decorating, I am a big fan of changing out my decor with the holidays and seasons. So much so that even my KitchenAid mixer gets a makeover too. 

I have wanted a KitchenAid for years, I was lucky enough to receive one for Christmas this year. Since this is one of my most prized possessions (I am totally serious here), I don’t want to do anything that would harm or damage this hard working machine. That is why I use matte removable vinyl to add a little personality to my kitchen with the changing seasons. 

Using my Cricut Explore and Cricut Design Space, I can always find fantastic images to make into decals for my home decor. With 60,000+ images, you are sure to find something you will love. 

Since Summer is in full force here in West Virginia, I decided a few beautiful hibiscus flowers would brighten up the sleek black mixer and add some color and a little charm to my kitchen. 

Once the decals were made, cut, and weeded,  I layered them onto the base and the top of my KitchenAid mixer using StyleTech Craft Transfer Paper. Since it was such a basic design, this took me about 15 minutes from start to finish.
